Treat the pattern as context
An inside bar shows temporary compression. It does not tell you whether the next expansion should be faded, followed, or ignored without broader chart context.

- An inside bar at a key level carries a different message than one in the middle of nowhere.
- This is why pattern markers should rarely stand alone.
Session and timeframe change the meaning
Inside bars can be common and noisy on some intraday charts, but more meaningful on others. Review the pattern frequency before giving it too much weight.
Good markers stay simple
A useful inside bar indicator should make the condition obvious, avoid clutter, and let the trader decide how it fits with levels, volume, or trend state.
