Range Bar

A price-based bar that forms when price moves a defined amount, regardless of elapsed time.

What it means

Range bars standardize bar size by price movement, which can make momentum and structure easier to read in some markets.

Because they are not time-based, pace and session context need to be interpreted differently than on standard time charts.
